Shuy Corral
About the Artist
Born in El Centro, CA, Shuy Corral is a multimedia border artist with a graphic design degree from Universidad Xochicalco in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. He presently lives in Calexico and frequently travels between Calexico, Mexicali, and San Diego.
Shuy has led artist-centered projects throughout the state of Baja California as the Director of The Cultural Department in the Social Development Office of Mexicali; participated in collective and solo art exhibitions across the U.S./Mexico border; designed pubic art projects and art workshops; and provided art direction for craft beer brands.
